PLÜTA MUSIC #8 - Fly Away House
BICEP, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Ben Böhmer, Lykke Li, Monolink, Reflekt, Delline Bass, Tinlicker
Hi!
With this week’s playlist, I’m bringing you airy, fly-away house tracks. Play:
“Atlas” - BICEP: The duo from Northern Ireland opens their album “Isles” with this track: ethereal vocals, a complex rhythmic structure, and groovy high-pitched synths combined with melancholic pads makes this track stand out.
“New Sky” - RÜFÜS DU SOL: Classic house drums with nostalgic vocals from Tyrone Lindqvist, accompanied by his two friends Jon George and James Hunt on keys and drums, create a great track in the escapism theme.
“Hiding” - Ben Böhmer, Lykke Li: The newest single from Ben, featuring Lykke Li (known for her hit song “I Follow Rivers”) on vocals. Airy vocals from Lykke, atmospheric pads, and piano with sharp and fast drums give a new original sound to Ben’s productions. This is the second single promoting his new album “Bloom”, planned for September.
“Father Ocean (Ben Böhmer Remix Edit)” - Monolink, Ben Böhmer: Originally published by Monolink (Steffen Linck, Berlin), remixed “Father Ocean” gained hundreds of millions of stream thanks to Ben Böhmer. Steffen’s voice and Ben’s deep house vibe secured it as one of the top 3 most-listened tracks among Ben’s productions.
“Need to feel loved (Tinlicker Remix)” - Reflekt, Delline Bass, Tinlicker: Original song, remixed dozens of times, gained the most attention due to Tinlicker’s remix published on “Anjunabeats Volume 14” in 2019 (a compilation published regularly by house record label Anjunabeats). Emotional strings and pads, synthetic syncopated keys, and dreamy vocals gave this track new life. It’s a festival must-have from Tinlicker.
Enjoy,
PLÜTA
