This week’s set is all about Joris Voorn, the renowned Dutch electronic music producer. Start a journey with a selection of five tracks from his production. Play:

The set opens with a track that is both warm and eerie, as Joris’s atmospheric synths meet Sky Civilian’s vocals in “Open Door - Joris Voorn Edit”.

The next two tracks are from Voorn’s latest album, Four, released in 2019. With “District Seven (Broken Mix)” and “Life,” long lead synths, rhythmic plucks, and lush pads take us into the danceable landscapes of his dreamy electronic soundscapes.

The fourth track, “Float - Mixed”, is the newest in this set (released in 2020 on a DJ mix compilation by Joris) yet goes back to old-school house sounds.

“Ringo” closes today’s set with a very analog, jazzy instrumental vibe. Released over 11 years ago, its melancholic vibe is enhanced by ethereal synth pads and a gentle bassline, giving the track a timeless feel that’s suited to both late-night sets and home listening.
